- Toast pecans. In bacon fat, fry chorizo slices. When almost ready, add cubed apples, fry. Serve with lettuce and pecans. Doesn't need dressing if there's plenty of chorizo.
- Taco salad: Cook beef (steak or ground) with hot spices, or use pulled pork. Red onions and tomatoes can be sautéed with beef or served raw. Serve with lettuce and avocado. Optional: olives.
